Want to find out more about Pension Credit?

Are you claiming the benefits you are entitled to? Whether you are a pensioner, nearing retirement or want to find out more for your friends or family why don’t you pay a visit to the mobile pension Service unit currently visiting the civic centre.

Available until Wednesday before moving onto the Mosque in Morden for the rest of the working week, the mobile exhibition unit aims to increase awareness of the help available to pensioners and to encourage them to claim the benefits they are entitled to. The initiative is part of Merton Link’s desire to work in partnership with others to enhance the community-based services to residents of the borough. The Pension Service is part of the Department for Work and Pensions and has been set up to provide today’s and future pensioners with a dedicated and reliable service.

For advice on Pension Credit and other entitlements visit the mobile Pension unit available at the following locations:

· Merton Civic Centre Forecourt, London Road from Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th September
· Bait-Ul-Futuh Mosque, 181 London Road on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th September

Advisors will be on hand from 9.00am to 4.00pm at both locations to offer free advice and guidance.
