GET AN A TO Z ASAP

Merton Council has produced a new A-Z guide that will help residents identify which council service they need and how they can contact the right department directly.

The guide is a handy A5 size containing more than 30 pages that describe what each council service provides and lists telephone numbers, hopefully making access to Merton Council much more user friendly.

For example, if people have ever wondered where they can play badminton in the borough or who they should contact if they need help and advice on rubbish accumulations, then the A-Z guide will be able to help them.

The guides are available from the main reception desk in Morden Civic Centre or from each of the borough’s libraries. The costs of the guide were fully covered by advertising and will be available on a first come first served basis only.

Anyone who would like written information about any of Merton’s services in another language or in Braille should contact Merton Council’s main reception on 020 8543 2222 and ask to speak to the relevant department.
