Recently published report praises Ricards Lodge
One of Merton?s schools has been classed as a very good school following an Ofsted inspection.
Ricards Lodge High School, Wimbledon was visited by Ofsted inspectors in November and the report, published recently, stated there were very high standards of student attainment, very good leadership and management and good quality teaching.
The report also highlighted other strengths including, the good provision for students? personal development and good student behaviour and attitudes. The good knowledge of students as individuals and the good standards of care for students were also mentioned.
Headteacher, Sheila Oviatt Ham, said: ?This inspection report is a credit to the staff and students of the school. Our dedicated, professional staff work hard to provide the best possible opportunities for the students.
?Students also work hard and achieve outstanding success and we are looking forward to maintaining and improving our standards as we move towards Schools Reorganisation in September.?
Director of Education, Leisure and Libraries, Sue Evans, said: ?Another very good Ofsted inspection report for another Merton school. This again demonstrates the high quality of education being provided in the borough.
