Garden tools for resident’s use

The Neighbourhood Warden Scheme has received a grant from the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit, which has made it possible to purchase a number of tools and items that can be used by local residents to help maintain their gardens.

Items available for use include shovels, garden shears, screwdrivers and brooms. Residents will be able to borrow equipment, for up to 5 days, in some cases a small deposit may be required, depending on the number of tools being borrowed, proof of address is required.

Tools are available at:

Pollards Hill at the Commonside Trust Office
Sadlers Close at the caretaker’s office
Phipps Bridge at the Frensham Court concierge

The library style borrowing system extends itself to resident and tenant groups for community projects.
