Mayor’s Charity Dog Night to be held in January

The Mayor of Merton will host a night at the dogs on Friday 23 January, to raise money for her chosen charities, Breast Cancer Care and Merton Mencap.

The night will be held at Wimbledon Greyhound stadium, and two types of tickets are available to purchase for the event. The Broadway Restaurant package is available for £20 per ticket, and will include a table in the restaurant with three-course meal, a facility to bet from the table and of course, admission and race card.

However, if you’d prefer to take in the great atmosphere of dog racing from the terraces, then there’s the ‘six pack party deal’ option. These tickets cost just £10, and will include admission, race card, food and two drinks, as well as a tote bet and free return visit. There’s also a special group-booking offer in case you fancy making it an evening out with your friends or colleagues.

As well as supporting two worthwhile charities, you never know – you may even return home in pocket and make up for a frivolous festive period!
