Learn how to be safe on your saddle as Merton Council’s Road Safety Section will be once again offering on road cycling proficiency courses for children aged 10 years and over who live or attend schools in Merton.
The courses will start on 26 July and continue through to the end of August and are free! Children however must already be able to cycle, have a road worthy bike and wear a helmet.
Adults however are also catered for with the free cycle training sessions on Saturday mornings, and everyone from total beginners to refresher cyclists are very welcome to attend. Cycling is a healthy way to travel, so if you want to brush up or learn this new skill this is for you.
Merton Council trained over 500 children last year on these popular off and on-road courses so early booking is advised. Information can be obtained from your child’s school, or for more details please contact Merton Council’s Road Safety Unit on 020 8545 3206/4141
