The Mayor of Merton, Councillor Margaret Brierly will be launching the Directory of Local Drug and Alcohol Services at the Merton Civic Centre on 3 November at 2pm.

The Merton Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) has produced the directory which provides details of local substance misuse, mental health as well as young people’s and culturally specific services.

The directory was developed over nine months with support from the Service Access Group and other professionals so residents and organisations in the borough could have access to a single source of information about substance misuse services.

The DAAT directory is an updated and extended version of a similar directory developed in 2000 and has detailed more of the services each agency provides, now including mental health and culturally specific services.
