Tamworth Manor and Mitcham Vale School pitches are available for the community to hire.

The new full size all weather pitches have been provided by the New Opportunities for PE and Sport Programme and funded through the Big Lottery Fund. The programme aims to improve physical education and sport in schools and provide better opportunities to increase the level of physical activity among the wider community.

Building work at Tamworth Manor and Mitcham Vale was completed in January and both pitches are fully floodlight, which enables the community to utilise them outside of school hours. Indoor sports halls have also been opened to the community outside of school hours.

A variety of sports can be accommodated including hockey, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, netball and badminton and both schools have excellent changing facilities and free parking. The pitches and sport halls can be divided into smaller sections making them ideal for training, matches or just a fun session.

Both facilities are available for hire Monday to Friday from 6pm – 9.30pm and weekends 9am – 6pm. For more information or to book phone 020 8623 1000.
