Use your vote

Poll cards have been delivered to all eligible registered electors in Merton about voting in the 2005 General Election on 5 May 2005.

Some of the polling stations have changed since the elections in 2004 so electors must check their polling cards carefully to make sure they go to the right venue. However those electors who have registered to vote by post will not be able to vote in person at a polling station.

Colliers Wood Ward
There are two new polling stations in Colliers Wood ward to make it more convenient for electors and take account of the new development at Merton Abbey Mills. The Guardian Centre is no longer being used. Instead, poll cards will tell electors to go to either :
– Abbey Orchard Community Room in Singleton Close
– Or Christ Church Hall in Christchurch Road.

Wimbledon Park Ward
In Wimbledon Park Hall is no longer being used. Instead, voters should go to Christ the King Church Hall in The Crescent.

Longthornton Ward
Lonesome Primary School will be taking on extra electors from Streatham Vale Baptist Hall as building work means it cannot be used this year.
