The Annual Gala Meeting (AGM) and launch of the Merton Adult Crack Service (MACS) will take place at 2pm on Tuesday 26 September.
The Mayor of Merton, Councillor Geraldine Stanford will attend, and Kenneth Robinson, Regional Drug Advisor for the Government Office for London, is just one of the many guests speakers that will grace the occasion.
The MACS service is confidential, free and open to all Merton residents and their families affected by substance misuse. The project is self-referring and clients are offered a series of interventions and support.
Councillor David Simpson, cabinet member for Partnership and Community Safety said:
“Substance misuse affects people and their families in the most terrible way. MACS offers people the chance to address their substance misuse problem and a more positive direction in life.”
