Merton’s mayor hosts a night of Irish Craic

Merton Mayor Councillor John Dehaney will be joining in the fun when he holds a special Irish Night to raise funds for his charities Deen City Farm and Merton Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Group.

Everyone is invited to come along enjoy some Irish music and try out their Ceilidh dancing skills at the party on Friday 28 March. There will be a bar at the event and doors to the Celtic party at Wimbledon Trinity Club in Trinity Road, Wimbledon, open at 8pm.

Tickets are £5 and are available by sending a cheque, payable to the Mayor of Merton’s Charity, and a stamped addressed envelope to the Mayor’s Office (Irish Night), Civic Centre, Morden, SM4 5DX. Some tickets will also be available on the door.

Councillor Dehaney said: “It should be a fantastic evening and I hope as many people as possible come along, and bring their families and friends.”
