Merton Council is inviting all residents to come and have their say at its forthcoming round of community forums.
The forums will take place in each of the borough’s town centres and will address a number of key issues affecting people living in the area.
Residents will have an opportunity to take part in a question and answer session with the council’s Leader, Councillor Stephen Alambritis, Deputy Leader Councillor Mark Betteridge or Cabinet Member for Finance Councillor Mark Allison, where they can raise their own issues of concern.
The first forum takes place on Tuesday 6 September and will be held at the Mansel Road Centre at 7.15pm in Wimbledon. Residents will be able to hear from Richard Tracy -London Assembly member for Merton and Wandsworth, and have their say about Transport for London’s (TfL) consultation on the Olympic Route Network.
The remainder of the forums will happen in the coming six weeks across different parts of the borough.
