Results of the Wimbledon Park by-election show a significant win for Conservative candidate Linda Taylor.

The results of the by-election are:

Dave Busby, London Liberal Democrats: 838
Richmond Alan Crowhurst, Green Party: 253
Louise Anne Deegan, Labour Party: 931
Linda Taylor, Conservative Party: 1,837

Thirty-seven ballot papers were rejected and the turnout was 48.1%

Linda Taylor succeeds Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, who resigned as councillor earlier this year to concentrate on his commitments as a member of the House of Lords.
