Fresh for spring, Merton Adult Education (MAE) is providing new courses starting 23 April, to help budding students brush up on their professional skills or learn something new.
MAE offers the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of subjects and skills including computer literacy, social networking, becoming a teaching assistant or even trying out reflexology. There is also a range of creative subjects such as jewellery-making, flower arranging and embroidery. Also available are courses in painting, drawing and sculpture, while those interested in dance can pull on their dancing shoes and learn ballroom.
We all know how vital it is to keep your skills up to the minute in today’s job market, and this spring is the perfect time to brush up your professional skills or learn new abilities.

Merton Council cabinet member for education, Councillor Maxi Martin, said:
“MAE offers a wide range of courses, giving our residents and visitors the chance to develop new skills, gain a qualification or just learn for fun and to challenge themselves.
“We see people of all ages and educational backgrounds come to MAE to learn new skills every day. It is particularly rewarding to hear how their new skills have helped them in their careers or personal lives. Whether you want to study maths, photography, first aid, or learn another language, MAE has a course to help this year.”
