Residents have until Wednesday 10th October to have their say on pay and display town centre parking, with three particular issues under review – sufficiency, location and cost.
A questionnaire about Morden, Colliers Wood, Mitcham, Raynes Park, Wimbledon Town Centres including Wimbledon Village is included. At a later date a second phase of the consultation will be launched regarding parking in local shopping parades throughout the borough.
Cabinet member for performance and implementation, Councillor Mark Betteridge said: “We want people to let us know what they think about parking in our town centres so that we can do all we can to improve our service and help residents and local businesses in these tough times.’
