Council calls for views on draft health and wellbeing strategy

Merton Council is calling residents and representatives from local organisations to share their views on Merton’s draft health and wellbeing strategy.

All those wishing to comment on the strategy are welcome to join the Healthier Communities and Older People Overview and Scrutiny Panel meeting on Tuesday 20 November at 7.15pm, Civic Centre, Morden.

Other issues to be discussed include how the health services, council and local partners can work together to improve health and wellbeing within the borough.

Merton’s cabinet member for adult social care and health, Councillor Linda Kirby said: “This meeting is a great opportunity for residents and local groups to let us know what they think about this strategy, which identifies the health needs of the local population. I encourage all who can make it to attend and give their opinions as they will be invaluable contributions to the final strategy.”
