Ahead of the world famous Wimbledon Tennis Championships, 29 June to 12 July, Merton Council has opened a new online booking and payment link to make it easier for tennis fans to secure a priority  car parking space. 

Online booking is now available for spaces in car park 10, a temporary car park set up in Wimbledon Park for the duration of the championships, which is only a five minute walk from the All England Club and is at the start of the tennis queue.

Merton Council cabinet member for parking, Councillor Judy Saunders said: “There’s so much demand for parking spaces, especially around the championships. We want to make parking easier for the many visitors to the borough at this time and enabling them to book online is one way of taking the hassle out of finding a parking space.”
