Rubbish and recycling collections for Merton residents will be slightly different over Christmas and the New Year.

The first collection that is different from the norm will take place on Saturday 24 December for residents whose normal collection day would be Monday 26 December. Other changes in collection days will be from 2 January with normal collections resuming Monday 9 January.

Changes to Christmas rubbish and recycling days are on the council’s website.

Residents should look out for the flyer which will be coming through their doors over the next week. Collection days are also listed in the winter issue of My Merton.
