The St Helier by-election will take place on Thursday 20 July 2017.

The list of candidates is now published.

For residents unable to visit a polling station on the day, postal voting application forms are available to download from the council website or by contacting the Electoral Services helpline on 020 8545 3407. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 5 July 2017.

Residents can also apply to appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. The deadline for this is 5pm Wednesday 12 July 2017.

To be able to vote, residents must be registered and those who aren’t have until Tuesday 4 July 2017 to do so.
