The vaccine rollout has been extended to invite people who are 30 and over. If you are in this age group, a carer or have an underlying health condition, call 119 or visit www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination to book your COVID-19 vaccination appointment. 

Second doses are also being brought forward for people aged 50 and over, or those who are clinically vulnerable, from 12 weeks to 8 weeks after the first dose. This is to give people fast protection against the Indian variant that is believed to be more infectious.

The NHS will contact those who should bring their appointment forward when they are able to do so. Nobody needs to contact the NHS. Those aged under 50 will continue to get their second dose at 12 weeks.
