Merton residents may have spotted our engagement teams across the borough over the last few weeks giving out COVID-19 home lateral flow testing kits and helping to explain the importance of twice-weekly testing for those without symptoms.

Last week saw the team at the Baitul Futah mosque in Morden where they were providing outreach and lateral flow testing kits to their congregation.

The teams have also joined up with the NHS vaccination pop-up teams and now go with them to give out lateral flow testing kits and encourage those who are vaccinated to test regularly as you can still catch the virus, even if you are vaccinated.

We have handed out over 8000 COVID-19 rapid testing kits over the last two weeks.
