Testing remains one of our most vital weapons in the fight to stop the spread of COVID-19.  

We encourage all residents to take a lateral flow test before meeting others. You can collect a pack of home test kits from any of our test sites. You can also have your quick LFT test done in person at these sites if you’d rather. 

There’s also an option to order rapid tests online from the Government’s website to be delivered to your home if that’s easier.       

There are different types of lateral flow tests in circulation so please make sure you check which testing kit you have and follow the instructions provided. 

If you have symptoms, and even if you’ve been vaccinated, you must isolate and book a PCR test or call 119. Don’t forget, mild COVID symptoms for you could make others seriously ill.           

You may be entitled to a £500 Test and Trace Support Payment if you have been told to stay at home and self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace. Check out Merton Community Hub if you need support with self-isolation.
