Merton Council would like to thank everyone at the New Horizon Centre in Pollards Hill for their support to facilitate the asymptomatic COVID-19 testing service in the east of the Borough for the past three months. In that time, over 2300 tests have been given  to residents to help stop the spread of the virus in the local community.  

The last day of asymptomatic COVID-19 testing at the New Horizon Centre will be on Saturday 16th October, before the transition to the Wilson Hospital which will start delivery on Monday 18 October.  

Testing will be available at the Wilson from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and tests should be booked in advance at Book a rapid test for coronavirus (lateral flow test) (merton.gov.uk) 

A mobile testing service will begin operation next week, with a focus on the east of the borough and this will include returning to Pollards Hill on a regular basis. This will enhance our ability to better serve residents and help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the borough.
