Have you got Long Covid-19? Active case finding pilot of people living with Long Covid: a co-produced study protocol (as part of the STIMULATE-ICP study)

Researchers at the University of Southampton are recruiting people with probable Long Covid that haven’t yet been clinically diagnosed, with the aim of exploring the barriers and potential stigma individuals may face in association with their illness, access to care and support and to provide feedback on the type of educational material that can be helpful to them.

The target population is adults aged 18 years old and above who live in Merton, who don’t have a clinical diagnosis of Long Covid.

The research team will collect personal details, including the participant’s gender, sex, ethnicity, religion, and disability and health information, as well as interview answers. Any personal data collected as part of the study will be used only for the purposes of carrying out research and will be handled according to the University of Southampton’s policies in line with data protection law.
