Time is rapidly running out to buy tickets for Merton’s fireworks displays next weekend.

Tickets are still on sale online for the events at Wimbledon and Morden Park’s displays on the 4 and 5 November respectively.

Both events last year were a sell-out.

Councillor Eleanor Stringer, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Civic Pride said: “Merton is hosting two of the biggest and best fireworks displays in London. Around 40,000 people attended last year’s events at Wimbledon and Morden Parks, and it looks like demand is sky high again.

“It’s not surprising as both events are great fun for people of all ages, and feature not only spectacular fireworks set to music but also funfairs, fantastic food and bars. And what’s more, we have frozen this year’s prices, because we know many of people are feeling the pinch with the rising cost of living. So I would urge residents to snap one up now before they sell out!
