A look back at election night

Elections staff working to count votes at the Canons Leisure Centre in Mitcham

Last Thursday, 100,240 of you came out to vote in the General election and our two local by-elections.

Administering elections and making sure the democratic process runs smoothly is one of our most important duties, and we’re very proud of our 509 colleagues who staffed polling stations, and our 260 colleagues who worked overnight at the count.
