Every Merton family that applied has received an offer of a primary school place to start in September 2025.

87% of Merton children have been offered places at their first-choice school, and more than 95% been offered a place in one of their top three preferred primary schools.

Cllr Sally Kenny, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Skills and Education said,

“We’re thrilled we could offer 87% of families their first choice, and with every school in Merton receiving Good or Better judgements from Ofsted, we know that standards are high right across the borough.

“All children offered a place to begin their learning are set to experience a great education on their doorstep.”

Parents are reminded that to take up the offers for their children, responses needed to be received by 30 April.
