Following the tragic incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023, which claimed the lives of eight-year-olds Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, we have set up this online book of condolence for people to pay their tributes to the two girls.

My sincere condolences to the children, teachers and families affected by this devastating incident. My love, thoughts and prayers to everyone.
Everyone across the borough and beyond feels the loss of two young girls who had so much to look forward to before their lives were cut so cruelly short. All my thoughts are with their family and friends, and those other young girls who witnessed last week’s tragic incident. We will do everything we can to help you all in your grief and recovery – you remain in our thoughts and prayers.
The loss of these two young lives is just unbearably sad. I’d like to send all my heartfelt condolences to Selena and Nuria’s families and friends. I cannot imagine what you are going through, but please know that the whole of the Wimbledon community is thinking of you and your two wonderful girls.
The loss of two young beautiful girls that have experienced such a tragic event which now results with the 2 girls being no longer with in this absolutely terrible incident. I cant start to understand how traumatic this incident is to your parents, family, teachers, pupils and local residents are going through. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected at this significant time. R.I.P Selena and Nuria.

I cannot imagine what your families are going through at this extremely sad time. But please know that so many people have added you to their prayers and I am sure that you’re two little angels are playing in a heavenly garden now.
