Following the tragic incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023, which claimed the lives of eight-year-olds Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, we have set up this online book of condolence for people to pay their tributes to the two girls.

This has been incredibly upsetting. I sincerely pray that Selena and Nuria’s families and friends find the peace they so very much need. They were gone too soon but their legacy will no doubt inspire their friends to live a full life in honour of them.
Sleep tight dear Nuria, taken too soon. May your light shine bright upon your loved ones. Rest in peace angel.

After i lost my father , i thought losing a parent is the hardest thing one could ever go through.. But since the day i heard the new about our gorgeous little nuria, i can’t even begin to imagine what her parents must be going through..
May Allah give them all the courage to deal with such a great loss.. May Allah eases their pain..

Our Y4 daughter remembers both your girls very fondly. She remembers how joyful Selena always was, her talent on the piano and infectious smile walking in with her sister. She remembers Nuria as gentle and clever, participating in the poem competition and just being warm. Do take care of yourselves. God bless the girls.

Nuria, your loss is impossible to bear. Its as if someone has turned off the sun. There is no light, and everything worthwhile has lost its meaning. Why are we supposed to make sense of this completely senseless reality where your family can no longer see you, be with you? So, instead of making sense of it all, we are sending out a massive prayer into every universe: that your parents, grandparents, aunts and family find peace in your memory; that their hearts are comforted; that their minds become calm.
