Following the tragic incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023, which claimed the lives of eight-year-olds Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, we have set up this online book of condolence for people to pay their tributes to the two girls.

As a father of an eight-year-old boy, my heart goes out to the families and loved ones of Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, who tragically lost their lives in the incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on July 6, 2023. It is devastating to imagine the pain and grief they must be experiencing. May their memories be forever cherished, and may the families find strength and solace in the collective empathy and compassion of the community 🙏
Any accident is ghastly but when young children are involved it is unbearable. They had their whole lives ahead of them and through no fault of their own are no longer with us. We lived in Wimbledon for three years and knowing the parents of a child from the school made the incident seem very real. We hope when the autumn term starts that the school will be able to move forward positively.
To the families of Selena and Nuria, my sincere condolences to you all. I’m so sorry you have had to suffer this tragedy. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Absolutely devastating to hear that the two most adorable and innocent young girls have unfortunately lost their lives at such a young age! Very saddened by the heart. They absolutely did not deserve any of this tragedy to happen! Sending my sincere condolences to the two girl’s families. The girls will always be remembered.

There is no greater loss to a parent than the loss of your child. It is something that you never can understand or comprehend. I sincerely offer my condolences to the parents, family and the wider community of Wimbledon of which I feel as a resident.
