  8. HM Queen Elizabeth II was a constant in a world that was ever changing. An anchor of stability and a beacon in times of uncertainty. It is for this reason her passing has been so profound for me. As her constant presence has now come to an end the realisation of how perhaps I took for granted that because she has always been here, that a Britain without her was something to contemplate for the future, the expectation that she would have a few more years, a few more Christmas messages, that there would be more time to prepare, and she would be there to guide us through hard times once again as she has always done so dutifully throughout her reign.

The stories of her kindness, thoughtfulness, diplomacy, profound love for her family, her duty to her country and her devotion to her faith showed a woman who because of the abundance of positivity she had put out into the world that this was reflected by those whose lives she had touched.

Although she is no longer here in body, may the legacy of her life live on for those who knew her, those who met her, and those whose lives she had impacted and, in the work, she has done and that the seeds of goodwill that she has sown continue to flourish and pollinate forevermore the world that she has left behind.

As a fellow sister in faith, I wish her soul to be at rest, to be with those with whom she lost and loved and that she has a place in heaven with God our father.

She has fulfilled her duty, Her reign is now over. May she rest in eternal peace.
