The marvellous Mitcham Carnival is getting closer and closer and Merton Council is urging anyone who would like to take part to get in touch.

Stall pitches are still available for the annual extravaganza, this year themed to celebrate Mitcham through the ages, which takes place on Three Kings’ Piece on Saturday 16 June.

The event will start with a carnival procession featuring personalities and events from Mitcham that will make its way to Three Kings’ Piece. Following the parade, events and entertainment will continue throughout the afternoon.
