Merton Council is holding a Community Care Information Open Day for residents.
The event, being held between 10am – 4pm on 11 February in Committee rooms, C, D and E at Merton Civic Centre, will feature representatives from Merton Council Social Services, Mencap, Merton MIND, Care Connect, Job Centre Plus, The Local Pension Service and Merton’s Welfare Benefits Advice Officer, Suzie Rollins.
The aim of the day is to provide up to the date information to residents about the services on offer and how they can be accessed.
Councillor Maxi Martin, Cabinet Member for Care Services, said: “This will be a great event and I hope as many people as possible can attend.
“The day will really be helpful to people and they will be able to find out in depth information about services they, or their relatives, need in a friendly environment. I hope to see people there.”
