Merton Highways Graffiti Team, Environmental and Regeneration Department continued their battle against graffiti and litter with another community clean up day on Tuesday 27 January in Wimbledon town centre.

Graffiti officers Pat DeJesus and Tom Solan were joined by Councillor Andy Coles and MPAC street wardens to clear up litter, graffiti and stickers that had been placed on the council’s highway and street furniture.

Councillor Andy Coles said: “We are committed to tackling the problem of graffiti in the borough. Holding a clean up event is one step towards creating a safer, cleaner and greener borough.”
