Merton’s web team are asking residents to complete an online questionnaire to find out what they think of Merton’s web site, http://www.merton.gov.uk, and what could be done to make it better.
The site was re-launched two years ago, and has achieved the Crystal Mark for Plain English, a customer service award from Kablenet.com and was chosen as one of the 20 most improved website in 2002, by SOCITM (the Society of IT Managers).
The web team carried out a successful consultation with residents 3 years ago when the web site was being redesigned. Residents’ feedback proved invaluable and many comments were incorporated into the design of the site and the ongoing development plan about new services and pieces of information to be added.
Residents’ needs may well have changed since the first consultation, the feedback from the questionnaires will help the web team to make a better web site.
