The Merton Children with Disabilities Team are holding an open day on Thursday 19th February, from 10am to 2pm, at the Chaucer Centre on Canterbury Road in Morden, aimed at young people aged 14 plus, to celebrate the transition of young people with a disability into adulthood.

Although aimed at young people, parents, families and friends are welcome to come along. Representatives from education, social services, housing, employment, health and leisure services will be on hand to showcase their services available for young people with a disability.

Community groups attending include: Merton Association for Disabled People, Connexions, Carshalton College, the Employment Assessment Centre, Merton Leisure Centres and SQUAD Youth Group.
