Joseph Hood pupils go Greek

Year Six pupils at Joseph Hood Primary will be celebrating all things Greek this Friday (13th February) to mark the end of their Greek project.

They will spend the day dressed up in Greek costumes and will be taking part in a number of activities including drama sessions, where they will act out well known Greek myths, look at maths, art and design and will be holding their own mini Olympics complete with closing ceremony.

Anita Gunputh, Headteacher at Joseph Hood Primary, said of they day:

“The children have been very enthusiastic in the lead up to the Greek day, and are looking forward to taking part in all the planned activities.”
