Merton Community Safety Trust in partnership with Merton Council, Merton Police and the Counter Terrorist Branch based at New Scotland Yard are hosting Merton Prepared, a free seminar aimed at helping Merton’s smaller businesses prepare for the unexpected.

There are thousands of businesses in Merton, many of which do not have a contingency plan in case of emergency.

Merton Prepared aims to inform local businesses of the current threat level in London, advise on what they can do to stop terrorism in Merton and help them to prepare for the unexpected such as fire or flood.

The seminar is being held on 5th November 2005, 4pm-7pm at Council Chamber, Merton Civic Centre, Morden Surrey, SM4 5DX.
