The first of three environmental themed roadshows will take place on Friday 8 September outside the Tandem Shopping Centre, Christchurch Road, Colliers Wood.

Starting at 10am and finishing at 4pm, the inception roadshow is set to concentrate on waste services, with a strong emphasis on recycling. Council officers from Merton’s Street Management division will be on hand to discuss issues with members of the public and offer them any relevant advice.

The other two roadshows, which are due to place on Friday 22 & 29 September, will focus on leisure and culture and enforcement and waste operations respectively.

Merton’s Environment and Regeneration department strongly urge people to pay a visit to the various roadshows, where they can learn about the services that are on offer and get the answers to any questions they may have.
