Merton is getting residents better connected

Merton Council’s website recently received an excellent rating from the professional association for public sector ICT management. According to their own research, undertaken by genuine users, ranks as one of the most useful council websites, achieving a standard of excellence in regard to content.

Merton Council’s website was also highlighted as one of the most developed and most improved sites, and is rated in the top ten of all London authorities. It was named as an example of good practice in regards to downloading information and forms, registering, and providing information on services. The site also has an Internet Crystal Mark for Plain English.

Overall Merton Council’s website is acknowledged as one of the best local authority websites in the country, and the council will continue to build on this, with further improvement planned.
