What: Merton libraries celebrates Roald Dahl day with the Polka Theatre

Merton libraries are celebrating Roald Dahl Day on 13 September with each library running a competition to win family tickets to the Polka Theatre’s production of The BFG.

Garden School will be visiting Pollards Hill Library to meet Roman Stefanski, the director of The BFG. He will be bringing costumes and props from James And Giant Peach for children to try on.

Councillor Maurice Groves, Cabinet Member for Community Services said:

“Roald Dahl is one of the most influential children’s authors that has ever lived. His hilarious and imaginative books will always continue to make reading fun for children around the world.’
