Merton’s ‘MASCOT’s members’ can look forward to quicker response times from the MASCOT team following their recent relocation.
Their new office, on the ground floor, means the team are situated right next to the car park allowing access to their vehicles. This will allow them to provide a speedy response to any emergency call outs.
MASCOT Telecare offers an alarm service to residents that alert staff when there are any potentials hazards in their home. Last year the number of alarms installed went up by 15%.
Cabinet member for adult social care and health, Councillor Linda Kirby said: “Our MASCOT Telecare team already do a fantastic job of responding to alerts. Their new location will mean we help more residents in faster times.
MASCOT Telecare manager, Suzette Simon said: “My team has excellent knowledge of Telecare and has settled very well in our new offices.”
