Former Wimbledon College student Wojciech Jagoda (16) shared his performance of Boccherini’s Minuet in G on the cello and is now off to see The City of London Sinfonia at the dress rehearsal for Merton’s first ever Classics in the Park concert.

Classics in the Park is on 11 and 12 September in Wimbledon Park. The City of London Sinfonia will be playing a selection of classical favourites under the baton of Stuart Stratford. Popular Classic FM broadcaster John Brunning will be compering what promises to be a wonderful evening of beautiful music and fireworks.

Wojciech said: “I’m looking forward to seeing the dress rehearsal. I love playing the cello and it will be really interesting to see a professional orchestra up close as they rehearse ready for the evening performance.”
