For the biggest bonfire weekend in south London, head to Merton as popular firework displays wow spectators in the borough’s flagship parks this November.
Thousands are expected to flock to Merton from across the capital, saving up to 33% when booking tickets online in advance of any of the four displays taking place over the weekend.
There will be two themed performances – “Disney theme” at 6.30pm and “Festival Favourites” at 8.15pm, both of which take place at Wimbledon Park on Saturday 4 November and Morden Park on Sunday 5 November.
Each display will be packed with plenty of oooohs and ahhhhs as spectators enjoy the much loved lighting of the bonfire, followed by a spectacular display of fireworks to music. And if that wasn’t enough the ever popular fairground rides and food stalls are back.
Councillor Nick Draper, Merton’s cabinet member for community and culture, said: “You won’t find a fireworks and bonfire display like Merton’s anywhere else in London. Bonfire night is always a firm family favourite which is why Merton is a great place for families and friends to flock and watch one of our incredible displays. Look forward to seeing you there!”
Notes to editors
Both Wimbledon Park and Morden Park venues are extremely popular, with a limited number of tickets available at each venue, so it is advised to book tickets online in advance to guarantee entry on the night.
