Monday’s further easing of restrictions is a welcome boost for many of us. But, we’re not out of the woods yet, so let’s keep going so that we stay safe and on track to get to the next step in the roadmap out of lockdown. Here are some top tips to remember as restrictions ease:
- You’ll now be mixing with more people, meeting outside is still best. If you are meeting indoors you can do this is in groups of up to six, or two households, but do make sure the space is well ventilated by opening windows and doors as this helps to disperse any virus.
- About 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 have no symptoms, but may still infect others. Taking twice weekly asymptomatic COVID19 tests is even more important, even if you’ve had the vaccine. Find out where you can collect a home testing kit or how to visit one of our other testing sites.
- The vaccine has played a huge part in us getting to this stage in the roadmap out of lockdown. With eligibility and other guidance changing regularly, keep an eye on the NHS website for the latest.
