Step 3 continues – what we can do to make it to step 4

The government has announced a 4-week pause at Step 3, meaning the current restrictions remain in place, with some exceptions around weddings and wakes.

It is expected we will now move to Step 4 on 19 July, though the data will be reviewed after 2 weeks in case the risks have reduced.

To make sure we get back on track in the roadmap out of lockdown, it is important all residents continue to wash their hands, cover their face, make space between one another and always try to open windows for good ventilation when socialising inside.

Getting your second dose is really important to give you long lasting protection from Covid-19 and protect against the Delta variant of concern.

We strongly urge everyone to take a rapid flow (LFD) test twice a week if you have no symptoms. You can pick up boxes of tests from local pharmacies, libraries, or you can attend one of our supervised testing centres. Find out more about how to get and take a lateral flow test.
