Testing remains one of our most vital weapons in the fight to stop the spread of Covid-19.       

We encourage all residents without symptoms to take a lateral flow test twice a week, especially before you go and meet with others.    

Residents without Covid-19 symptoms can have assistance to take a test from our Asymptomatic Testing sites, including 18 Community Pharmacies across Merton, Centre Court Shopping Centre and the New Horizon Centre and Wilson Hospital serving the east of Merton.     

If you are confident to take the test yourself, then you can collect up to two boxes of seven rapid tests to use twice a week at home from Merton libraries. 

You can also get home test kits from a number of participating pharmacies in the borough. However, if you are picking up from a pharmacy, you now need to get a collect code. Before you go to the pharmacy, simply use this service to get a collect code and then show the code when you collect your tests   

You can also get a collect code by calling 119 (free from landlines and mobiles). Lines are open from 7am to 11pm. You need to get a new collect code for each collection.     

If you have symptoms and even if you’ve been vaccinated, you must isolate and book a PCR test or call 119. Don’t forget, mild COVID symptoms for you could make others seriously ill.
