Test twice a week to keep you and your colleagues safe

With less people working from home and more returning to the office, it is vital we all test twice a week to protect those we come in contact with at work and on public transport.

Even if you don’t have symptoms or have been vaccinated, you could still pass on the virus to someone, so we recommend taking a lateral flow test twice a week.

Residents without COVID symptoms can have assistance to take a test from our Asymptomatic Testing sites,  including 18 Community Pharmacies across Merton, Centre Court Shopping Centre and the Wilson Hospital serving the east of Merton.

If you are confident to take the test yourself, then you can collect up to two boxes of seven rapid tests to use twice a week at home from Merton libraries.

You can also get home test kits from a number of participating pharmacies in the borough. However, if you are picking up from a pharmacy, you now need to get a collect code. Before you go to the pharmacy, simply use this service to get a collect code and then show the code when you collect your tests

If you test positive you should not go to work and book a PCR test immediately.

All local PCR test sites across Merton now operate from 8 am until 6 pm, 7 days per week. Testing remains available for members of the public who cannot attend a test site prior to 6 pm. Home PCR test kit ordering is available via the national booking system or by calling 119.
