Pupils from across Merton received their A Level, Vocational, Technical and T Level results today.

Results yet again exceeded the national pass rate at A-level, with T-level students achieving a 100% pass rate.

Many students will now pursue their chosen education, apprenticeship or career path.

Councillor Sally Kenny, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Skills and Education, visited Ricards Lodge High School in Wimbledon today as pupils opened their results. She said:

It’s been wonderful to hear about the students results and the exciting opportunities that await them – from apprenticeships to university places and starting out in their chosen career paths. Merton has one of the best education systems in the country and we want to make sure all of our young people have the opportunity to thrive as they move into adult life. 

I want to congratulate all the students for their hard work and dedication, and wish them every success in the future. Today’s results reflect their determination and success. I would also like to thank everyone who has supported our students through every step of their journey – they ensure Merton is one of the best places to grow up in London.
