Following the tragic incident at The Study Preparatory School in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023, which claimed the lives of eight-year-olds Selena Lau and Nuria Sajjad, we have set up this online book of condolence for people to pay their tributes to the two girls.

Two beautiful girls that left us too soon. The pain that their family and friends must go through – may you all find the strength to cope. My sincere condolences and prayers. Wimbledon will keep these two bright stars in their mind for a long time to come. The two bright sparks will be shining wherever they are.

Words can’t express how devastated the school community is to lose two beautiful, gentle and caring girls. I am heartbroken and will remember them forever. Please take care of your families and send them all of our collective love, we will all always be here for you.
Compassion, Curiosity, Creativity and Courage. Values that make a Study girl so special and unique. Values that can’t be dimmed by tragedy nor time and will live on in every Study girl, past, present and future so that Selena and Nuria will never be forgotten.

Sad and devastating news that two young precious lives have been lost to this tragic road traffic accident; sincere condolences to the friends and families of the bereaved. May they both rest in peace. Upon the news of death Muslims recite the following phrase: inna lillahi wa inallah-e-raji’oon meaning can be translated to mean “Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.” It is a reminder of the transient nature of this world and the fact that everything belongs to Allah (SWT), the Almighty.
Dear Selena’s and Nuria’s families: There are no words to help you cope with your unbearables loss. Our hearts are broken and we can’t stop thinking about your two beautiful girls. We look up at the stars at night and think of them.
We hope that you can somehow find the strength to get through life without your precious angles. I don’t know….it’s impossible…..We are sending you so much love.

So sorry, and saddened to hear about this awful dreadful news about these two beautiful young girls. Also those who are still in hospital fighting for their lives. Words really is not enough to express the sere devastation I feel, especially as a parent myself I could never imagine how I would cope if this happened to my child.
Life can be very unfair and cruel. I wish things like this never happened and was ways of preventing tragic incidents like this from ever happening. Always in our thoughts and prayers.
